The owners of this small detached house wanted to build an addition, and rearwards was the only possibility. By mirroring the existing building form, we made the addition perfectly match the exterior. On the inside, a two-story living room became the heart of the home, with an existing captive bedroom transformed to an open office loft. This small addition transformed the entire home from a very ordinary space to one of light and beauty.
