This three-story private residence in Munhall, PA sat vacant for many years and fell into disrepair. Fortunately, the main house’s structure was in sound condition, but the existing rear addition required foundational repairs. The condition of the exterior and interior required a total aesthetic and building systems renovation. The design modified the first floor to create an open concept layout with a large living and dining room, a new powder room, and a large rear kitchen. The second and third floors were reconfigured to accommodate a large family. The second floor has a master suite with a walk-in closet and private bathroom, a second bedroom with walk-in closet, and a main floor bathroom. The third floor houses a laundry closet, and two bedrooms that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The exterior received a new roof, new porches, new windows and doors, and new siding.
