For this historical mixed use building in Lawrenceville, many project decisions centered on preserving the tin ceilings of the first floor commercial spaces. With improved fire separation to upstairs exit routes, we were able to achieve the owner’s goals. A historic storefront brought light and life into the commercial spaces, and commercial tenants were immediately attracted to the space. Upstairs apartments were reconfigured and renovated to improve the quality of living spaces and light.
