Midcentury Residential Addition O’Hara Township, PA

This 1950s dwelling completely transformed by opening up and enlarging the existing common areas and creating a new addition, while respecting and updating the mid-century architecture styling. Vaulting the main room ceiling while maintaining the existing roof completely changed the feel of the space at moderate cost. The new addition with a primary bedroom suite was separated enough to feel like a quiet oasis, and also framed the outdoor patio space, creating a stronger identity and sense of enclosure.
